Cali is a long coated Chihuahua who came from a hoarding situation. She was quite thin but is now at a healthy weight. Sheâs sweet, loves attention, loves to play with other smaller dogs, loves to boss bigger dogs around, crate trained, mostly potty trained accidents can happen if we donât let her out fast enough bc she doesnât know how to bark to tell us sheâs got to go out. Sheâs probably about 5-7 lbs 2 yrs old. She will be getting her spay shortly, vaccinated, chipped as well and then will be ready to go to her furever home. If interested please fill out an application petpath.org

Ivy is a 2 year old Brindle Boxer. She has had a soft pallet resection surgery and the vet may have taken a bit too much out but it doesnât seem to bother her. She is a very active girl, still a lot of puppy in her. She snorts and grunts whens she breaths, eats, and drinks but she gets along just fine, she is just noisy. She is not good with cats. NO CATS PLEASE DO NOT EVEN ASK. She needs to be in a house without cats and probably no other small animals. She has been good with her familyâs other 2 dogs, She is more of a dominate nature, their other 2 dogs are very submissive. Those are the only dogs that they have ever seen her around. She will need a home with a fenced in yard. She does have some seperation anxiety and has been started on some medication for this recently. She would do best in a heavy duty crate when no one is home. She is not crate trained but she can easily be trained. This would be for her safety while you are away. She is up to date on all vaccines, spayed, microchipped and heart worm negative. She is a very loving sweet girl who has all that goofy boxer energy to share.

Mystic is partially blind and mostly deaf. Condition is not reversible however she is a happy girl who is full of life, love and energy. She does not require much as far as being special needs. She busts needs a good fenced in clean yard to play In. She will learn her area quickly. She will take. A little while to warm up to new people but considering her condition sheâs been phenomenal!! We love her and want better for her. She has to stay in an outside kennel during the day because we have a hot wire fence here at the rescue and we will not risk her bumping it and then running full speed into a tree and hurting herself. She does well in her kennel and inside her crate at night. She would do well to learn indoors and has not potties inside since we have had her.

Nutella is a sweet boy. He does like to Mark inside the home unfortunately and it is likely due to the number of dogs we have here at our rescue in our home. He wears a belly band while he is inside with us. He doesnât potty inside he does all that business outside, he just wants to Mark because of other males. That aside he will likely not do this in his own home without competition of the other dogs. He does getalong with everyone and is playful and so darn cute. We just love him.

Iâm Penny and I have been waiting for my furever home for some time now. I was left at the Cleveland animal Shelter by my previous family along with my buddy. He was adopted but I was not so my rescue parents at Pet Path gave me a safe place to call home until I found my permanent home. I am a pretty big girl of about 70 lbs and they think my parents may have been lab and Shepherd or Akita mix. Iâm very loyal to my family and protective of them as well. My new family would need to be an energetic active family that loves to exercise and go on hikes or runs daily. You see Iâve got these superpowers when it come to energy. My rescue parents said I am the equivalent to the energizer bunny. Not sure who that is but ok I will take it. I do settle down and know how to be calm but Iâve got to be able to run and exert my energy first. My new parent(s) will need to be strong leaders because I am a strong girl and if my parents are not strong I will feel the need to be the leader of our pack family. I love toys and love to play fetch. Iâm not to big on sharing my toys but if my rescue friends find another toy instead of the one i have then I donât feel like being a turd and taking theirs away too like someone else I know here ?. I get along with most dogs big and small. I tend to forget my size though when I play with the little pups. I try so hard to get down on their tiny level. I play bow to the floor and paw at them but sometimes I have to lay on the floor to convince them to play with me. Now the bigger dogs.....heck yeah Iâm a boss. I love to play really rough like real rough with the big dogs. I can be a bit reactive at times when my energy level is high and this is why I need a strong parent that will make sure i get to exercise and that can tell me when to knock it off when I play to rough. Iâve not been trained on a tread mill however that would probably be a great thing for me. The treadmill Would be kinda cool too. If youâve got one, my rescue parents will come out to teach you how to train me to use it. Hey it would be better than using it as an additional closet right? ?. I am a very sweet girl once Iâve had a chance to exercise and get my energy reserves down a bit. I really need my own family I love my rescue family and friends but I am so ready to have my very own family. One that will keep me for ever and never give me up like the last one did to me and my best friend. ?? APLY TO ADOPT AT petpath.org

Roscoe is making so much progress. Heâs shy and timid at first but warms up quickly now. He received some behavior modification training and was semi feral. He was afraid of the leash, afraid of new things and people. He now has gained confidence and is learning to trust people and is enjoying life. He will only need a little time maybe a day or two to warm up to his new family. He will need a strong leader because he will assume the lead position of a leader is not present and that can lead to unwanted behaviors such as bring over protective of his family or food or even toys. Heâs very sweet and very very very smart. He did wonderful on his field trips in public and even wagged his tail and let people pet him.

Runt might be small but he is mighty. He and his friends all found themselves homeless when their owner suddenly unexpectedly passed away. He is an excellent little hunter and has been doing an awesome job as a rat retriever/killer on his previous homes farm. He will not do well with any dogs smaller than he is or any cats. He has killed a cat previously. He also does not need to be in a home with any rodent pets as he may think they are prey. He is a cuddler and a great little protector. He only has one eye but it doesnât stop him. He needs a great home where he can live out his days doing his job during the day and resting comfortably inside at night.

Sandie is a very sweet girl. She is mildly active she loves to play and cuddle. She loves car rides and most other dogs. When she meets other dogs she tends to be so interested she is bold and not afraid to meet them. She has some separation anxiety and will need to be crated in a good heavy duty crate when you are not home. She is not destructive if you are home with her and she can sleep in your bed or in her crate. She just does not like to be alone and will become nervous and chew things she shouldnât unless she is in her crate. She does have flea dermatitis (flea allergies) so she will need to be on flea preventives frontline plus works great for her. She pulls on her leash which we will help her with. She will be protective of her family and will need a good strong leader or she will fill that position herself. She was an owner surrender from a home that had children. She can be active at times and a total couch tater at other times. She deserves to be happy in a home of her own.

Scarlett is a pretty but shy girl at first and lacks socialization around strangers but we are working on that and she is doing fabulous!! Sheâs great with other dogs and older kids would be best if you have kiddos. Sheâs a little timid when going in public however that is all changing as we introduce her to new people and places. She took a field trip to rural King and did pretty good for her first trip into a store ever. She even relaxed enough to let strangers pet her. Sheâs a very smart girl and wants to love on you all the time. She loves to hang out on the couch with you and snuggle. Her energy level is moderate. She does like to play but when sheâs tired sheâs tired. Lol

Trish came to us from a rural shelter. She and her siblings were just abunch if yard dogs that got fed occasionally. Despite her past she is super sweet and very loving. She is also very smart and is a people pleaser. Sheâs submissive in nature and socialized well with other dogs. She loves all dogs especially puppies. Sheâs crate trained, house trained and socialized. She can be playful but she is also pretty laid back as well. She is still young and will need things to chew such as nylabones, pig ears or hooves. She had never been inside a home before coming to us and didn't know what was chewable and what wasn't. We think she's got it down pat now though as long as she has her things she's allowed to chew she now does wonderful inside while supervised. Sheâs never had a single potty accident in the house or her crate. Sheâs an Awesome girl!
